Handle: You have 3 option. 1st choice Juniper burl, Olive wood, Amourette, 8 mm slabs. Traditionnal shepherd’s cross inlay.
Blade : Swedish Stainless 12c27 Sandvik steel, 3 mm thick . Hardness : 56-57 Hrc.

Spring : The spring is made from a 3mm thick stainless steel. A solid bladestop is provided on all of our springs : that shall keép. a long time the edge of the blade. The traditionnal bee is solid, and forged into the spring. The whole spring & bee are then hand chased with a file, including below the screw.
That makes each of our Laguiole knives one of a kind.
Plates & bolsters : 1,2 mm thick stainless steel with 2 solid bolsters.
Corkscrew : 5 rings worm , 8 mm diam, hardenned and polished stainless steel. Made in Thiers- France. We proudly say that our corkscrew knives are easy to open & and can definitly open any kind of nice wine.
Assembling : traditional, hand made rivets.
