MADE IN FRANCE

The name ‘Damascus steel’ or simply ‘Damask’ comes from the Arabic name of the city Damascus and points to the iron processing industry being in existence there for centuries! It is a material made from different varieties of iron and steel. Through forging, with repeated folding and then forging again, a clear structure of several alternating layers emerges which indicate the different initial materials. After polishing the structure of these extraordinary knives develops – knives which are made from Damask steel having been folded 500 times and therefore making every single knife unique. In addition to the bee, beautiful engravings were chiselled into the spine of the knife.
