Welcome to the third edition of the Sunshine Renault Bonjour French Festival. The event will be hosted on November 11th-12th-13th 2016 with the intention of bringing the best of France and French Culture to the Gold Coast.

This year, the Festival will be centrally located in Kurrawa Park, Broadbeach, for all the community to experience an exciting showcase of the French cuisine, community and culture in a beautiful Gold Coast location.
The Bonjour French Festival will be celebrated over 2 days and 2 nights, including a French Film night showing “Intouchables” in collaboration with the Gold Coast Film Festival for a gold coin donation entry.
The Family Friendly Festival will also host Activities such as Arts & Crafts, Bonjour Kids Corner, History, Music, Educational Activities, and Sports.

The event has become one of the major events of the Gold Coast and prides itself to bring more diversity every year. Thanks to the Academy of Design, the event will allow attendees to discover the variety of French speaking countries around the world through a Body Art Parade which will kick off the Veolia Rouge Night on Saturday night. It will be followed by French Can-Can dancers and an international Big Band from New Caledonia “Blue Blanc Blues”, 17 amazing musicians on stage: Splendid!

November 13th 2016 will mark the 1st anniversary of the Paris attacks and the organisers have decided to hold an official memorial as together we can all stand for Freedom and show the Love that we have for one another. Following the most recent tragedy in Nice, the festival will have a condolences book at the information tent and an art installation “the Walk of Love” which will be on site to pay tribute to the victims and their families.
